Privacy
Beacon Compliance Network Inc. runs ignition-interlock-device.com. Here you can read what we gather from drivers, why we gather it, which companies see it and what the law lets you choose.
What we collect
- The booking form asks for your name, phone number and email, which state ordered the device, and the date it must go in.
- Calls to 888-528-2919: the caller's number, when the call happened, how long it lasted and, because calls may be recorded, the recording (a short notice plays before any recording starts).
- Ordinary server logs: browser type, IP address and the pages you visit.
Reasons we collect it
These details let us arrange your interlock install and answer your request. We also use them to guard the site against abuse, keep it running, and count the calls and requests each page brings in, which shows us which pages are useful.
Who receives your details
The interlock company or installer that serves your state receives your booking details and uses them to reach you and set an appointment. The data is handled for us by our web host and our phone provider. No one else receives it unless a law makes us hand it over.
Selling and sharing
We may get paid by an installer for a booking request we pass on. The law in California, and similar laws in several other states, may treat that hand-off as selling your data or sharing it. You can ask us to stop at any time through the Do Not Sell or Share form.
Your rights
Under the privacy rules of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and a few more states, you can ask what we hold about you and request a copy. You can also have errors corrected, have your details removed, or tell us to stop selling or sharing them. Every request gets an answer, and making one won't change the way we deal with you.
Cookies
We set no cookies and load no outside tracking script, so there is no cookie banner. To spare you typing, your browser saves the state and number of months you last chose, and they stay on your device.
