Prices are each company's national starting price. The 12-month column adds a year of that price, the install price and any set-up fee, or MADD's typical $70 to $150 where no install price is posted.
MADD's national range: $70 to $150 to install, then $60 to $80 a month, or $790 to $1,110 for a year.

Which drivers need one?
If you're convicted of a first DUI and your BAC came in at .15 or higher, you'll need both the device and a special license. Any conviction after the first means the device is required at any BAC level.
If you carry a CDL, a commercial driver's license, the state won't issue the interlock license to you.
Where does installation happen?
Your installation has to happen in Wyoming, at an approved service center, and a technician certified in Wyoming has to do the work. Each approved company sets its own prices, so the installer we connect you with can give you a quote and set up your appointment.

Getting the interlock license
Anyone required to use an interlock has to apply for a special restricted driver's license, known as the IIR license. Along with that application come three costs: the $50 fee to get your license back, what you'd normally pay for a driver license, and the $100 ignition interlock administrative fee.
Your required interlock time starts the day your interlock license is issued, not the day the device goes in, so getting the device installed doesn't start the clock on its own.
What it costs
MADD's national averages put installation at $70 to $150 and the monthly cost at $60 to $80, so a year usually comes to about $790 to $1,110. Prices vary by company, and the installer we connect you with can give you an exact quote.
The state license fees come on top of these totals.
Help paying for it
If you can show that you're eligible and qualified for SNAP, state funds may cover half the cost of getting and using the device. SNAP is the food assistance program.
Once you're approved for help, you won't owe the $100 administrative fee when you submit your interlock license application.
Keeping the device working
Under Wyoming's 2009 WYDOT rules, every installed device needs a calibration check at least once every 60 days.
If you tamper with the device or disconnect it, expect more legal trouble, driving penalties and extra interlock time. Since the fallout costs you both time and money, you're far better off keeping the device working and telling the company about any issue.
