Prices are each company's national starting price. The 12-month column adds a year of that price, the install price and any set-up fee, or MADD's typical $70 to $150 where no install price is posted.
MADD's national range: $70 to $150 to install, then $60 to $80 a month, or $790 to $1,110 for a year.

The program for a first offense
When you're arraigned, you can ask to join the First Offender Program if you have no prior DUI conviction or offense on your record. You also need to have had a valid Delaware license when the offense happened.
The Division has to have your revoked license in hand, and then at least 1 month has to go by before your interlock license can be issued. From the issue date, you stay on that license for 5 months.
Not sure you qualify, or what to say when you face the judge? Call us and we'll connect you with a Delaware installer.
Voluntary program for refusals and repeat offenses
The voluntary program may be open to you if you refused a chemical test or have a second or later DUI conviction. If anyone died or was seriously hurt in the offense, you can't use it.
You start by giving up your license for a stretch of 2, 6 or 12 months, matched to a revocation of 12, 18 or 24 months. When your interlock license is issued, you're revoked for another 2 months.
What it costs in Delaware
State rules put a $100 cap on installation. That figure counts a $30 rebate, which comes back to you once the device comes off. Monthly monitoring and calibration is capped at $75, and that's your cost to cover.
Your first payment tops out at $175, and every bi-monthly payment after that tops out at $150. Calibration is when the device gets checked and adjusted so the readings stay true. These caps are set in Delaware's regulations.
For context, MADD puts the national averages at $70 to $150 to install and $60 to $80 each month. Over 6 months that works out to roughly $430 to $630, and over 12 months, roughly $790 to $1,110.
Companies that install
Two companies show their prices publicly. Smart Start's monthly lease starts at $59.99, and its Trustpilot rating is 4.6 out of 5. Intoxalock's monthly lease starts at $54.99, with a rating of 4.4 out of 5.
Use the booking form or give us a call, and we'll send your request to an interlock company or installer working in your state to get your appointment scheduled.
When the device comes off and your license returns
When the Division gets notice that you finished the program satisfactorily, it approves removal of the device. Before your license comes back, you owe the Division a $200 reinstatement fee.
Every step is spelled out on the Delaware DMV ignition interlock page.
